Health authorities have warned of an 'early, severe' flu season with cases already up by almost 30 percent on this time last year*. This is especially concerning for rough sleepers who are vulnerable to flu-related pneumonia, because many of them suffer multiple chronic illnesses.
The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is helping by providing free flu vaccinations to those in need. Our clinical team, assisted by NSW Health, will administer the flu shots to the homeless and vulnerable.
