As the cost of living crisis continues to bite The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation has expanded the number of locations visited by its fleet of food vans.
Now those food vans deliver nutritious meals to the hungry at 17 different sites across Sydney – from the inner-city communities of Woolloomooloo and Redfern to the outer western suburbs of Warwick Farm and Lakemba.
At each location the food vans serve up to 600 meals. These are prepared in an industrial kitchen then packed and loaded on board the vans in trollies, airline-style. The meals arrive at the distribution sites hot and ready to be eaten.
