Our Play Therapy id a child-centred early intervention program for children with complex trauma background. It uses the child’s natural language of play to help them make sense of difficult experiences, thoughts, and feelings. Grounded in neuroscience, it promotes emotional regulation and healing by providing a safe environment for children to process their emotions and experiences through play.
With your support further funding will enable us to expand our Play Therapy program by accepting referrals from community and domestic violence centres to our Ashfield location and/or mobile service. Our Play Therapy supports children aged 3-16 who have experienced trauma, including abuse, family violence, neglect, or other challenges.
