He is a shy, First Nations man who was recently discharged from hospital. Despite having two broken legs he was not given a wheelchair, pain medication or adequate support.
The Foundation’s case workers stepped in, providing immediate assistance with non-perishable food, as well as fresh and frozen meals. Crucially they also got Mark a wheelchair. It has enabled him to concentrate on his recovery.
