The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation is on track to feed more hungry people this Christmas than at any time in almost 40 years. What’s more it’s not just the homeless who are getting a meal, now those who can’t afford food are being fed as well.
The Foundation expects to provide in excess of 10,000 meals over the festive season. That’s because high grocery prices have pushed record numbers of Sydneysiders into hunger – skipping meals, or worse still not eating at all on occasion. Thankfully, free meals and food hampers will keep them nourished and well this Christmas.
