Single mothers are among the many people who seek support at The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation. This is especially so when they are escaping family violence.
Recently a single mother sought help from the Foundation. She and her one year old daughter were living in a refuge after fleeing domestic violence.
With assistance from the Foundation’s case workers she moved into a housing commission property. What’s more, thanks to extra support mum and baby were given furniture to make their house a home.
