The Foundation has long used its expertise in education, health, social care and charity management to support national organisations in developing countries. Now this work is set to expand with the launch of Bill Crews International (BCI).
Bill Crews International will support organisations in their endeavour to reduce the ill-effects and lasting negative impacts of natural and man-made disasters.
Indeed, the Foundation has already established a presence in Uganda. In partnership with local charities it has supported primary, maternal and newborn health. Now Bill Crews International is expanding to neighbouring South Sudan.
The country has been plagued by civil conflict and severe climate change. Not to mention a distinct lack of opportunities for the population to break free from the chains of poverty. BCI will work with a local charity organisation to effectually reduce the impacts of multiple crises on the local population.
