Karl Stefanovic will show his support for homeless men at the Beards & BBQ event in Sydney today.
The Beards & BBQ event is part of Movember. It will be hosted by Rev. Bill Crews, AM and National Living Treasure, who is famous for his work with the poor and homeless. The Beards & BBQ event will be a celebration of togetherness for rough sleepers who usually feel isolated and alone.
There will be beard trimming and shaping, as well as a huge BBQ sausage sizzle with all the trimmings including onions, mustard and lashings of tomato sauce.
“Sydney has a great heart”, said Rev. Bill, “And our Beards & BBQ event proves it! Thanks to Karl Stefanovic and my team of volunteers, the rough sleepers will feel the kind heartedness that Sydney’s famous for.”
