It enables children with low-literacy skills to achieve the same educational and social outcomes as their peers. “It’s a life-changing program which lifts the average reading age of the kids by more than one year in just one semester”, said Rev. Bill Crews. “It gives some of the most under-privileged kids the ability to have a better future.”
More than 3,000 kids have graduated from Rev. Crews’s literacy program since its inception and many have gone on to be the first in their family to go to university.
