Every meal is a lifeline. In the past year alone, The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation has served an astonishing 427,000 meals to our community's most vulnerable members – that's 1,170 plates of dignity and hope every single day.
As winter deepens, so does the need. Our meal services are now reaching nearly 26,500 people monthly through our mobile food vans traversing greater Sydney, our welcoming Loaves and Fishes restaurant in Ashfield, and our take-home frozen meals program.
These aren't just statistics, they're hungry Sydneysiders; elderly people on fixed incomes, families choosing between heating and eating, and people experiencing homelessness with nowhere else to turn.
Our new seasonal menu features comforting Sunday roasts, warming bowls of mashed potato topped with tender braised meats, hearty hot breakfasts, and fresh produce packed with essential nutrients – all prepared with care and served with dignity.
Your support is not just filling empty stomachs; it’s providing a warm, safe place where people can gather, connect, and know they haven't been forgotten. In the coldest months, your generosity becomes the warmth that sustains our community.
