Demand for emergency food relief has skyrocketed during the pandemic. Indeed, we’ve distributed more food parcels to needy families than at any time in our 35 year history.
Over 23,300 food parcels have been given to the hungry. That’s more than five times the number we distributed in the same period before the pandemic.
Demand has been driven by the growing number of hungry people unable to feed their families. It’s worth noting that lots of them never needed our help before.
Our food parcels have kept meals on their tables. Each parcel contains basic items like pasta, bread, tinned fish, noodles and long-life milk.
